Light + Building 2010
The Light + Building exhibition was a huge success for CLS.
Not less than 16 new distributors have started promoting CLS products in their countries. Demonstration packages have been purchased by a number of countries and our CEO Mr. Peter van Workum has visited a number of countries in the last two months in order to visit local customers of our distributors.

Furthermore CLS is proud to announce the set up of a representative office in Moscow later this year. With this set up we will be able to serve the Russian market in the most optimal way.

The new REVO was really one of the most discussed products of the exhibition. Even designers from competitors came to pay their respect for the extreme light output, the robust design and the extreme flexible set up of the product.

Already at the exhibition the first orders were granted. We must congratulate Mr. Russ Gittleson from Light Kinetics as being the first company in the world for placing an order for this unique product. An amount of 69 pieces will be installed in the garden area of a new shopping centre named Lynnwood Bridge in Pretoria, South Africa.
A second delivery will take place in July to Russia for the facade lighting of a brand new office building. Not less than 110 pieces of the REVO in the colour Amber will be installed. Click on the artist impressions beside to enlarge them.

  MT33
CLS has added a new 700mA driver to the current range. The new MT33 is an extremely cost effective solution to control one single Omit 3 x 3 Watt or three pieces of MR16 or Florence. Due to local import taxes and costs we can’t give an exact price for each country. But to give you an idea, the price is 50% less than for example a MT53 (4 x 3 watt 700mA).

A number of new drivers will be introduced in the coming months. With the introduction later this year of complete new series of high power down lighters. We see the need for mains dimmable drivers for the use in offices, auditoria, conference-rooms, theatres. In the next issue of our newsletter we hope to be able to have more information about the upcoming new generation of our new series of down lighters.
