The New DVC2 GOLD ZM* is Now Available
This new hardware completes the DASLIGHT controller range and will replace the current DVC2 GOLD interface by the end of 2009. We have integrated lots of new technologies, to provide even more performance. Based on a new emphasis of architecture, architectural applications and Stand-Alone applications without computer requirements.
Following is a summary of new features:

+ 2 x 512 DMX channels out or 1024 channels now available in Stand-Alone (without PC).
+ The PC board includes a Mini SD card memory, the size of your show won’t be a problem anymore.
+ The capability to trigger 5 scenes together (5 different Zones A,b,C,d, E) in Stand-Alone mode (without PC).
+ More Time-Triggers options are included.
+ 64-bit Windows Operating System Compatibility.

The public price of the DVC2 GOLD ZM* is €549 / $659.
This new interface is now available (as of June 2009) with a BETA version of the DVC2.

The New DVC2 IP is Available
We have integrated IP technology. With Ethernet communication ability, this hardware completes the DasLight controller range. The interface can be connected to a local network (via IP port or switch) and the network can use Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable. Stand-Alone functions are very similar to the DVC2 GOLD interface.
Following is a summary of the DVC2 IP features:

+ 512 DMX channels out in PC mode and in Stand-Alone mode (without PC).
+ Can connect 20 interfaces on a local Ethernet network and control 10,240 DMX channels.
+ 20 Time-Triggers are included.
+ 64-bit Windows Operating System Compatibility.

The public price of the DVC2 GOLD ZM* is €499 / $599.

New Functions for the DVS
We have added new features that make theDaslight Virtual Screen (DVS) more user friendly.
Following is a summary of the new DVS features:

+ Ability to digitaly change the size and position of each button.
+ “Always on Top”, DVS is always displayed first
+ Displayin a small LED to know if the scene are triggered from the STAR/STOP command.
+ Automatic Shut Down, you can turn off the computer directly from the DVS.

The new DVS functions are available with the current BETA version of the DVC2.
You can download the BETA version of DVC2 (DVC_beta.exe) from the Daslight web site.

Compatible 64 bits

New 64-bit USB Drivers
New USB drivers for 32-bit and 64-bit Windows OS are now available for the DVC2 ECO 512 and the DVC2 128-M USB/DMX interfaces. Only DasLight Virtual Controller 2 (DVC2) is compatible with 64-bits, not the old DasLight software (DVC1).
Important Notes:
- The new driver only works with 64-bits for DVC2 ECO, DVC2 128-M, and the next generation DasLight interfaces.
- All other USB interfaces previously supplied by DasLight do not use the new 64-bit drivers. They only work under the 32-bit mode with the current 32-bit drivers.
- To be compatible with 64-bits, systems without any problems must use the Beta, or newer (as of March 2009), version of the DVC2 software. The new divers need to be manually installed.
- The Beta version is available from www.daslight.com and offers a choice to install either the 32-bit (old) or 64-bit (new) drivers.
- These new drivers are not compatible with older versions of the DVC2 software (versions earlier than March 2009)
- The DVC1 software (first generation) is not compatible with 64-bit operating systems, so you must use the 32-bit driver in this case.
